1. About us

These Terms govern your use of prizeguild.co.uk, your Prize Guild account and your participation in promotions operated by Prize Guild Ltd.
Individual promotions may also have their own specific rules. Where specific promotion rules conflict with these Terms in relation to that promotion, the specific promotion rules will take precedence.
2. Eligibility
Prize Guild is intended only for people who:
- are aged 18 or over; and
- are resident in the United Kingdom.
You must satisfy any additional eligibility conditions stated in the rules for a particular promotion.
We may require reasonable evidence of age, residency, identity or other eligibility information where necessary to administer a promotion, verify a winner, protect the integrity of the service or comply with law.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating and using your account.
Unless we expressly state otherwise, each person may operate only one Prize Guild account and accounts are for personal use only.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. You must not knowingly allow another person to use your account to obtain entries, Founder status or other benefits intended for you personally.
You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Creating an account alone does not make you a Founder and does not create a competition entry.
4. Email verification and eligibility declarations
Some Prize Guild features require a verified email address.
Founder qualification also requires an authenticated declaration that you are aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom.
These declarations form part of the eligibility process but do not by themselves award Founder status or create an entry.
5. Terms, promotion rules and privacy information
Where required, you must read and accept the current applicable version of these Terms and the specific rules governing a promotion before participating.
Our Privacy Notice explains how Prize Guild handles personal data. The Privacy Notice is provided for transparency and is not itself a request for marketing consent or a general consent to data processing.
Where we rely on consent for a specific activity, such as certain forms of direct marketing or non-essential technologies where consent is required, we will request that consent separately.
6. Founder membership
Founder membership is governed by the applicable Founders Drop Rules.
Founder status is only awarded after all applicable qualification requirements have been successfully completed.
A Founder number:
- is separate from any competition entry number;
- is personal to the qualifying account holder;
- is non-transferable;
- has no cash value; and
- does not by itself guarantee any financial benefit, discount, prize, future entry or other lifetime benefit unless a specific benefit is expressly published by Prize Guild.
Founder numbers may remain permanently associated with the original Founder record and will not be reassigned to another member.
7. Promotions
Each Prize Guild promotion will state the significant information necessary to enter, including where applicable:
- the prize;
- eligibility requirements;
- opening and closing dates;
- entry limits;
- entry method;
- whether entry is completely free;
- how a winner will be selected; and
- any material conditions affecting participation or receipt of the prize.
You must comply with the rules that apply to the promotion you enter.
8. Completely free prize draws
Where Prize Guild describes a promotion as a completely free prize draw, no purchase or payment is required to enter.
The Prize Guild Founders Drop is intended to operate as a completely free promotional prize draw under its published Founders Drop Rules.
9. Future paid promotions
These Terms do not establish the final legal or entry structure for future paid Prize Guild promotions.
Before Prize Guild launches any paid promotion, the applicable entry mechanics, prices, free-entry arrangements where relevant, skill requirements where relevant, payment terms and specific promotion rules will be published and reviewed as appropriate.
The existence of these Terms does not mean that paid competitions are currently available.
10. Entry numbers
Where Prize Guild allocates a competition entry number, that number identifies an entry in the relevant promotion only.
Entry numbers do not:
- create additional entries;
- increase a person's chance of winning beyond the valid entry they identify;
- represent Founder status; or
- have independent monetary value.
Prize Guild may correct an obvious administrative or technical numbering error provided doing so does not alter the number of valid entries or unfairly affect the outcome of the promotion.
11. Winner selection
Winner-selection arrangements will be stated in the applicable promotion rules.
Where a prize draw uses a random computer process, Prize Guild will use a process capable of being demonstrated as verifiably random and will retain appropriate evidence of the selection.
Where another lawful selection method is used, the applicable rules will explain it.
12. Winner verification
Before finally awarding a prize, Prize Guild may verify that a potential winner:
- satisfied the stated age and residency requirements;
- held the required account;
- made a valid entry;
- complied with applicable entry limits;
- complied with the promotion rules; and
- did not obtain an unfair advantage through fraud, automation, manipulation or other prohibited conduct.
Verification will be limited to information reasonably necessary for those purposes.
13. Prizes
Prize Guild will describe the prize before entry.
Unless the applicable promotion rules say otherwise:
- prizes are non-transferable;
- there is no cash alternative;
- Prize Guild will not charge the winner for ordinary UK prize delivery; and
- a prize will not be substituted merely because the promotion has performed less successfully than expected.
If circumstances genuinely outside Prize Guild's reasonable control make the advertised prize impossible to provide, Prize Guild may provide a reasonable equivalent of at least comparable value where permitted, and will communicate the change appropriately.
Nothing in these Terms removes any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Third-party products and brands
Prize Guild promotions may feature products manufactured, supplied or branded by third parties.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, references to third-party brands identify the relevant prize only and do not imply that the manufacturer, brand owner or retailer sponsors, endorses or administers Prize Guild or the promotion.
All third-party trade marks belong to their respective owners.
15. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- create or control duplicate accounts to obtain extra entries or benefits;
- use bots, scripts, automated entry tools or similar methods;
- manipulate or attempt to manipulate an entry, draw, vote, account or promotion;
- interfere with or probe the security of the website or supporting systems;
- knowingly exploit a technical fault;
- access or attempt to access another person's account without permission;
- provide materially false eligibility information;
- impersonate another person; or
- use Prize Guild for unlawful purposes.
16. Suspension and disqualification
Prize Guild may suspend an account, reject an entry or disqualify a participant where there is a reasonable basis to believe that fraud, abuse, a material breach of these Terms or promotion rules, a security threat or a legal obligation justifies doing so.
We will not arbitrarily cancel valid entries or withhold valid prizes.
Where appropriate and practicable, we may request information from the affected person before making a final decision.
17. Technical problems
Prize Guild will take reasonable steps to operate its website and promotions reliably.
If a technical problem occurs, we will take reasonable steps to preserve valid entries and maintain the fairness and integrity of the promotion.
Where a material technical issue affects a promotion, we will communicate any necessary action appropriately.
A technical problem will not be used as a reason to avoid awarding a valid prize.
18. Changes to promotions
Prize Guild will not extend a closing date or materially change a promotion merely because entry levels or commercial performance are lower than expected.
A change may be made where exceptional circumstances outside our reasonable control make it necessary, provided the change is lawful, proportionate, communicated appropriately and does not unfairly disadvantage participants.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to our services, law, security requirements or to improve clarity.
Each published version will display its version number and effective date.
Where participation requires acceptance of a new current version, we will ask the member to accept that version separately.
Historical acceptance records may be retained where reasonably necessary for evidence, disputes, compliance and record keeping.
20. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains what personal data we use, why we use it, the lawful bases we rely on, who we may share it with, how long it may be retained and the rights available to individuals.
The Privacy Notice is available at:
21. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the Prize Guild website, branding, graphics, original text and other original content are owned by or licensed to Prize Guild Ltd.
You may use the website for your personal, lawful participation in Prize Guild services.
You must not reproduce, commercially exploit or falsely represent Prize Guild intellectual property without permission except where permitted by law.
22. External links
The website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
Prize Guild is not responsible for third-party websites that it does not control. A link does not by itself mean Prize Guild endorses the third party.
23. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
Prize Guild provides its services for personal and consumer use. Subject to the paragraph above, Prize Guild is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from use of Prize Guild for purposes outside ordinary personal consumer participation, except where the law requires otherwise.
24. Closing your account
You may ask us to close your account by contacting [email protected].
Closing an account does not necessarily require us to delete information that we must or reasonably need to retain for legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, promotion integrity or record keeping. Our Privacy Notice explains this further.
A Founder number already validly allocated will not be reassigned to another person merely because the original account is later closed.

26. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings available to you under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights that the law does not allow us to remove.
